Adoption. Spay/Neuter. Humane Education
Looking for pets for adoption, adoptable dogs, cats, or rabbits from a nearby animal shelter you can trust? We make adopting a pet simple, clear, and rewarding while ensuring each animal receives the best possible care before going home with you.
Adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment of love, time, and resources. Before visiting our local animal shelter, please consider:
🐾 Discuss with your household: Ensure everyone is ready to welcome a new family member.
🐾 Check your lease: If you rent, confirm your lease allows pets and any size/breed restrictions.
🐾 Update your current pets: All pets at home must be up to date on vaccinations, including rabies.
🐾 Prepare for a gentle introduction: We recommend keeping your new pet separate until they have seen your veterinarian, then introducing them slowly with supervision, exercise, and love.
By considering these steps, you help ensure your adoption is a success for you and your new pet.
To make your visit smooth and reduce wait times, please submit your online adoption application before you visit. This allows our team to pre-approve your application so you can adopt your pet the same day if you find the perfect match.
🐾 Applications remain valid for 6 months.
🐾 If you’ve applied within 6 months, simply email or call to express interest in a specific animal.
Note: Animals are adopted on a first-come, first-served basis. Submitting an application does not guarantee the animal will still be available at your visit, but it helps us serve you efficiently.
