I hope this message finds you healthy and well. I wanted to send along a “happy tail” on behalf of our sweet pup that we adopted from Augusta Regional SPCA in January 2020. During her time with y’all, she was known as Siri. We brought her home and christened her Haggis (nicknamed “Aggie”), in honor of our Scottish honeymoon many years ago. My husband Brad and I wanted to tell you how grateful we are for bringing this sweet girl into our lives.
Haggis was definitely timid when we first brought her home but she is now perfectly comfortable and loves being chums with me, my husband Brad, and our cat Arthur. Haggis lives to sniff everything in the neighborhood on our walks! On our adventures, she practically bounces. She trots along like a palomino pony on our strolls, so we call our daily walks “prances,” which is so much more accurate. She loooooves snuggles and crunchy treats and never ever gets enough of cuddles and belly rubs. When she’s not snoozing on our couch, you can find Haggis playing with the snuffle mat Mama made her and giving her kitty brother Arthur kisses… and Arthur (a former stray) is being a pretty good sport about it too. In short, we adore Little Miss Aggie and are so grateful she’s a part of our lives. We just adore our little lass… and her giant ears!
In the first picture, you’ll see Haggis and her kitty brother, Arthur, hanging out in our bed. Arthur was a stray kitten that wandered into our yard three years ago and decided to keep us! They are getting to be pals and enjoy following each other (and Mama!) around the house. In the second photo, she’s posing on the Wonder Woman quilt I made for her.
All thanks for the wonderful work you do.
