Through The Jack Didawick Adoption Fund the Augusta Regional SPCA is offering a “Pets for Seniors” program. Any qualifying senior 65 years and older may adopt a 2+ year old dog or cat from the Augusta Regional SPCA at a special rate. Cats can be adopted for $25, dogs for $50. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, heartworm/lyme test (for dogs), feline leukemia combo test (for cats), a microchip, and all possible age appropriate vaccinations.
In 2006 Dustin Didawick came to the ARSPCA looking for a dog, instead he took home a family member. Jack Didawick was a beloved member of the Didawick family for over 14 years; through success and failure, happiness and heartache, Jack was always there and will always be in their hearts. In his loving memory we are creating the Jack Didawick Adoption Fund to help others experience the love and joy of adopting a family member from the ARSPCA.
